BTS J-Hope to Perform at Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve
On December 16, BTS took to their official Twitter account announce the J-Hope member will be one of the performers on the hit American New Year’s Eve television special.
At this year’s “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve”, which will be held at Time Square, BTS J-Hope will be performing “= (Equal Sign)”, “Chicken Noodle Soup”, and “Butter (Holiday Remix)”.

This year will mark the first time the “Arson” singer has appeared on the show as a soloist and the third time overall. BTS previously appeared in the annual New Year’s Eve television special in 2017 and 2019.

In other news, it was revealed that BTS’s J-Hope treated everyone at his recent Crush concert to a sweet bungeo-ppang (a fish-shaped cake filled with sweet red bean paste). The concert which took place in Gwangju was part of the domestic tour of the soloist “Crush Hour”. Gwangju is known as the hometown of J-Hope.

Outside the concert venue there was a bungeo-ppang booth sent by the BTS members themselves. There was a banner saying, “Everyone, come to Hyoseob’s first show. Hoseok is paying.”
As many of you know, Crush and J-Hope collaborated this year for the chart-topping song “Rush Hour”, which was released last September.

“Rush Hour” debuted on various Korean music charts shortly after its release on September 22. At 7 p.m. KST, it was No. 5 in Bugs, No. 30 in Genie, No. 33 on MelOn’s real-time chart, and No. .33 on MelOn’s Top 100. The song climbed to the charts in the following hours.
On the daily charts that same day, Crush and J-Hope’s “Rush Hour” debuted at No. 3 in Bugs, No. 31 on MelOn, and No. 34 in Genies.

In addition, “Rush Hour” managed to sweep the top spot on the iTunes Song charts in at least 41 different territories, including Chile, Mexico, Brazil, the Philippines and Indonesia. It even landed in the top 10 in 68 other territories, including the United States (where it finished No. 2), Japan (No. 3), and the United Kingdom (No. 4).
Meanwhile, J-Hope BTS is included in second row of show acts at the upcoming 37th Golden Disc Awards with TikTok. This will mark his first time attending as a solo artist.

The 37th Golden Disc Awards with TikTok is scheduled for January 7 and will kick off at 8 p.m. KST. Taking place at the Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, the awards ceremony will be broadcast live on JTBC.
