On December 7, South Korea’s TikTok released its 2022 Year-End Top charts, which ranks the short video app’s most popular Korean songs of the year.
Sitting at No. 1 is “LOVE DIVE” by IVE, the title track from the rookie girl group’s album of the same name, released in April.
“LOVE DIVE”, which features unique choreography like “Mirror Dance” and “Diving Dance”, is showing great popularity on South Korean TikTok. The number of views on a video with the hashtag “#LOVEDIVE” surpassed 200 million views just a week after its release.

In addition, several phrases related to the song have even become one of the popular search terms on TikTok in Korea and overseas, such as “IVE LOVE DIVE”, “LOVE DIVE”, and “IVE LOVE DIVE Challenge”.
IVE’s “LOVE DIVE” has not only received a lot of love on South Korean TikTok, but also on domestic charts even today. In fact, it was ranked first on the year-end charts of Melon, VIBE, and Circle Digital Chart, as well as on YouTube Music, South Korea’s Spotify, and South Korea’s Apple Music.

What’s more, “LOVE DIVE” earned a total of 10 music program trophies, becoming one of the few K-pop girl group songs in 2022 with the third most music show wins. It even took home the Song of the Year (Daesang) award from the 2022 Melon Music Awards and the 2022 MAMA Awards.
