This year, BTS‘s J-Hope take a new challenge on 2022 MAMA Awards by representing BTS as a group and himself as a solo artist. Not only did he put on a stunning headline performance, he also received various awards for the achievements of BTS and himself as a soloist.
After the event, he held a live broadcast to talk with ARMY and expressed how new the whole experience was for him to be attending the awards ceremony alone.
Because of this, the show has a completely new and different feel to it.
As the soloist of J-Hope, I came out and I was able to show myself shining on the stage today. It feels very different to me. It was an interesting day for me.

In particular, he remembers how different it was to receive an award at an award show alone, stand on a podium alone, and give a solo speech.
Usually, when all the BTS get together, all the members will add talks for part of the speech, thus making the full speech together.
Now, J-Hope has to do everything himself, including starting and ending speeches.
After the members speak first, I will continue. For me to start a speech, I couldn’t gather my thoughts.
