Music Video for ‘Kill This Love’ Translucent 1.7 Billion Views, BLACKPINK Again Achieves Achievements
On November 25 at around 2:53 p.m. KST, the music video for BLACKPINKThe 2019 mega hit “Kill This Love” on YouTube reached 1.7 billion views, according to YG Entertainment.
BLACKPINK’s mega hit DDU-DUDD-DU is the first K-Pop group music video of 2019 to reach this milestone on YouTube, following “Kill This Love” which reached 1.7 billion views, according to YG Entertainment.
Besides that milestone, this is the third K-pop music video overall after PSY’s “Gangnam Style” and BLACKPINK’s “DDU-DU DDU-DU” – to surpass 1.7 billion milestones.
As a result, BLACKPINK has become the first Korean artist to surpass the milestone with more than one music video in addition to being the first K-pop group and to date to do so with a music video.
“Kill This Love” took less than 3 years, 7 months, and 20 days to reach 1.7 billion views from its first release on April 5, 2019, midnight KST.
